Zamna is one of the few suppliers in the industry to become a Strategic Partner to IATA, and are an active contributor in both Passenger Facilitation and Aviation Security groups, helping lead the industry development and delivery for One ID.
Zamna are proud winners and current title holders of the inaugural Innovation Award from IATA (the trade association of the world’s airlines). IATA (International Air transport Association) consists of 290 airlines, primarily major carriers, representing 117 countries, the IATA’s member airlines account for carrying approximately 82% of total available seat miles air traffic. The award was judged by members at the annual Global Aviation Passenger Symposium in Athens, recognising Zamna with an overwhelming majority vote as a strategically important innovation, delivering on IATA’s vision of One ID.
Zamna have contributed several white papers to IATA’s consultations; shared practical learnings to help shape the One ID technical proposal; and presented on stage at both the GAPS (Global Annual Passenger Symposium) as well as IATA’s annual AvSec (Aviation security) gathering in 2018-2019.
As part of our work with IATA Strategic Working Groups, the Zamna team attend meetings and deliver insights from their first working implementation of One ID principles into live use cases in commercial aviation, and actively contribute to peer reviewed learnings which shape wider industry recommendations.
